- As half owed for the entire five months has been paid, parent will be billed for half of the 300.00 monthly amount the first day of the month, 150.00. If enrollment occurs from the 15th to the 31st, please make sure 75.00 payment has been submitted 24 hours ahead of first scheduled appointment. Thereafter payments are due the first of the month.
- Please email 2 completed assignments which your student will be ready to discuss, review and talk about what they know. BethFowler@USHomeschoolConslutants.com is the email to send assignments to. Please rehearse ahead of time what the student knows. Many times the student wants to talk about what they did, not what they know. Example: “What do you know about the letters of the alphabet?” “I can sing the alphabet.” “That sounds great, lets hear you say them.” “A,B,C…….” “Great, can you tell me what words you circle in your workbook which begin with the letter A?” “Alligator, apple….” If the student talks about what they did, the conversation will sound like this: “I colored the letter A and then circled words beginning with the letter A.” Assessing the student understands what the letter A says and which words begin with the letter A is difficult to discern from this conversation.
- A recording of the conversation will be uploaded to an electronic portfolio, If parent has agreed on the contract. If the parent has not agreed to a recording, the conversation will be typed up and uploaded to a portfolio.
- Depth of learning will be assessed and recorded for uploading to a portfolio.
